Anna Maria partners with organizations and individuals to develop and implement positive and sustainable leadership and change initiatives. With nearly 30 years of professional experience, she combines highly refined coaching skills with international business experience to create and apply high impact, transformational programs.

Approach

In her work with both executives and teams, Anna Maria focuses on understanding her clients’ challenges and facilitating change from the inside out by challenging paradigms, incorporating action learning, and creating an environment where clients feel empowered to take their leadership to the next level. She believes that every person, team, and organization can grow and succeed by exploring new perspectives, expanding their ability to take effective action, and leveraging their real potential.

Background

Prior to coaching, Anna Maria held CFO and leadership roles throughout Europe for Ascom, Nike, and Sage. She demonstrated a unique ability to engage people in significant change management initiatives that enabled the strategic repositioning of companies and increased organizational effectiveness. Anna Maria facilitated the institutions’ transformations by visualizing and implementing innovative finance and human resources systems and approaches, coaching the leadership team, and engineering culture shifts.

Education & Credentials

Anna Maria is committed to life-long learning and to continuously developing both her coaching skills and her own leadership abilities. She has attended executive development programs focused on change management and negotiation skills at Stanford University; leadership development at the Centre for Creative Leadership; co-active coaching at The Coaches Training Institute; executive personality dynamics at the International Gestalt Institute; and neuro-linguistic programming at the DVNLP in Germany. She recently completed her Master of Studies in Social Innovation at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School.

She is certified in the Hogan Leadership Assessments, the 360° Social and Emotional Competency Inventory (ESCI), Lumina Spark, the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Conflict Dynamics Profile, the Change Style Indicator. Anna Maria holds a B.S. in Business Administration from City University in Switzerland.

Affiliations

Anna Maria is a fellow at the Institute of Coaching (IOC) affiliated with the McLean Hospital Harvard Medical School and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) in the US. In her former role as a Board member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) in Germany, Anna Maria actively promoted the coaching field in Europe.
